Joint Task Force-Bravo's 612th Air Base Squadron plays key role in delivery of humanitarian aid

Boccardi spent the day meeting with leaders of several communities surrounding Soto Cano Air Base. During the meetings, Boccardi presented each leader with more than twenty soccer balls and a collection of soccer jerseys donated from the "Kick for Nick" non-profit organization, which collects and distributes soccer balls for underprivileged children in honor of fallen U.S. Army Pvt. Nick Madaras, who was killed in Iraq in 2006.
