More than 130 members of Joint Task Force-Bravo completed a 6.2 mile round trip hike to deliver more than 3,000 pounds of food and supplies to families in need in the mountain village, April 12, 2014. During the more than three mile trek up the mountain, Task Force members made an elevation gain of 1,600 feet while carrying more than 25 pounds of supplies each. Joint Task Force-Bravo hikes food; supplies to remote village in Honduras

In conjunction with the Honduras Habit for Humanity, Siguatepeque region, the Municipality of Ajuterique and the Civil-Military Operations office at JTF-Bravo, these service members volunteered their labor to assist in the building of homes in the Ajuterique community. U. S. Special Forces; Honduran paratroopers exchange wings after training jump

Joint Task Force-Bravo’s Medical Element (MEDEL) make a connection with the Hogar de Ninos, Nazareth boys orphanage on a Saturday morning. The boys receive much needed supplies such as clothing, toiletries, and school items provided by volunteers from MEDEL. The service members played soccer, colored pictures, and even took “selfies” with the joyous children.

Service members from Joint Task Force-Bravo and the Honduran Air Force Academy participated in the 2nd Annual JTF-Bravo Wounded Warrior Project 24-hour relay April 4-5, 2014 at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras. Nineteen teams consisting of 4, 6, 8 or 12 members ran or walked almost 2,180 miles to remember their injured brothers and sisters in service and to raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project. A marijuana field burns during a joint marijuana eradication operation between Joint Task Force-Bravo and Belizean forces. The operation, which lasted March 15-20, 2014, resulted in the Belizean government destroying 34 marijuana fields and approximately 57,283 mature marijuana plants for an initial estimated value of $29 million. In addition, the team also found and destroyed 25 pounds of marijuana seeds. The Bataan Memorial Death March honors a group of World War II heroes, who defended the islands of Luzon, Corregidor and the harbor defense forts of the Philippines in 1942. After being captured by the Japanese forces, these Army, Army Air Corps, Navy, Marines, and National Guard heroes, survived on half or quarter rations and outdated equipment during the 80 mile march.The soldiers were responsible for the defense of the islands of Luzon, Corregidor and the harbor defense forts of the Philippines.
