The group received health screenings and patient education related to blood pressure, blood sugar, exercise, muscle strength, balance and good oral hygiene as they age. After the screenings and classes were finished, the group of senior citizens was able to turn back the hands of time and act young again as they were treated to dance lessons and the opportunity to dance with members from Joint Task Force-Bravo. The Medical Element, with support from JTF-Bravo Joint Security Forces, partnered with the Honduran Ministry of Health, the Honduran National Police, and the Honduran military to provide medical care to nearly 1,000 people over a two day period. The teams worked together to provide preventive medicine to their patients which included classes on hygiene, hand washing, preventive dental care, and nutrition. In conjunction with the Honduras Habit for Humanity, Siguatepeque region, the Municipality of Ajuterique and the Civil-Military Operations office at JTF-Bravo, these service members volunteered their labor to assist in the building of homes in the Ajuterique community. U. S. Special Forces; Honduran paratroopers exchange wings after training jump

Joint Task Force-Bravo’s Medical Element (MEDEL) make a connection with the Hogar de Ninos, Nazareth boys orphanage on a Saturday morning. The boys receive much needed supplies such as clothing, toiletries, and school items provided by volunteers from MEDEL. The service members played soccer, colored pictures, and even took “selfies” with the joyous children.

Service members from Joint Task Force-Bravo and the Honduran Air Force Academy participated in the 2nd Annual JTF-Bravo Wounded Warrior Project 24-hour relay April 4-5, 2014 at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras. Nineteen teams consisting of 4, 6, 8 or 12 members ran or walked almost 2,180 miles to remember their injured brothers and sisters in service and to raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project. A marijuana field burns during a joint marijuana eradication operation between Joint Task Force-Bravo and Belizean forces. The operation, which lasted March 15-20, 2014, resulted in the Belizean government destroying 34 marijuana fields and approximately 57,283 mature marijuana plants for an initial estimated value of $29 million. In addition, the team also found and destroyed 25 pounds of marijuana seeds.
