Out with the old...

U. S. Army Lt. Col Frank Melgarejo, Joint Task Force-Bravo operations officer and Sandi Burges, Bridge Ministries founder, hand out soap kits to people at the Comayaguela Landfill. Joint Task Force-Bravo, non-government organizations Clean the World, Bridge Ministries and Kick for Nick Foundation, the Honduran 21st Military Police Battalion and the Honduran National Police formed a partnership to distribute soap kits, backpacks with school supplies, tooth brushes and tooth paste, soccer balls and uniforms to students at eight Tegucigalpa, Honduras schools in a two-day event, May 20-21, 2014. A vehicle traveling west on Honduras Highway CA-5 about 13 miles outside of Comayagua, Honduras was struck from behind by a tractor trailer truck, May 13, 2014. The 18-wheeler subsequently pushed the vehicle into the trailer of another tractor trailer crushing the vehicle. Joint Task Force-Bravo members during the hands-on training portion of the combat life saver course taught by members of the Medical Element. Joint Task Force-Bravo’s Medical Element instructed 23 individuals on combat life saver techniques and tactical casualty combat care from May 12-16, 2014. Army South's SSAT deploys

SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador — Two U. S. Southern Command Situational Assessment Teams, referred to as SSAT, participated in FA-HUM

Key leaders from Joint Task Force-Bravo met with Honduran civic and military leaders at the Mobile Surgical Team's site of a Medical Readiness and Training Exercise (MEDRETE) being conducted in the town of Santa Rosa de Copan, Department of Copan, Honduras, May 7, 2014. The Task Force and Honduran leaders engaged in discussions on how to build on the strong relationship between the U.S. and Honduras, how Joint Task Force-Bravo can continue to partner with Honduras in order to provide assistance to those in need and toured the Mobile Surgical Team's mobile operating room where U.S. and Honduran medical professionals were working side-by-side conducting gall bladder and hernia repair surgeries for eight local citizens.

U. S. Army Lt. Col. Mark Talbert greets a five-year-old Honduran boy during a pre-operative visit May 6. His case is one of eight surgeries performed by the Joint Task Force-Bravo's Mobile Surgical Team and the surgical staff of the Santa Rosa hospital in the city of Santa Rosa de Copan, Department of Copan, Honduras during a Medical Readiness Training Exercise May 5-9. These surgeries, which are often very expensive for Honduran nationals, were provided free of charge.
