Joint Task Force-Bravo training exercise strengthens U.S., Honduran partnership

SOTO CANO AIR BASE, Honduras — A recent training exercise conducted by Joint Task Force-Bravo's 1-228th Aviation Regiment provided not only training, but also had the additional effect of positively impacting the ongoing partnership between the United States and Honduras.The 1-228th recently completed a Collective Training Exercise, during which the unit set up a tactical field

The officers of Joint Task Force-Bravo participated in a special physical training session, during which they competed in an "Urban Hero Challenge" at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, Nov. 22, 2013. The officers divided into teams and competed in events that included pushing and pulling a Humvee, tire-flipping, a fire-hose carry relay race, along with several others. The winning team of the competition earned the right to hoist Joint Task Force-Bravo Commander Thomas Boccardi's "PT Championship Belt." The special PT session served to enhance camaraderie, teamwork, and esprit de corps among the JTF-Bravo officers, as well as to promote overall physical fitness. (U.S. Air Force photos by Capt.
