Joint Task Force-Bravo brings medical care to more than 1,200 in remote Honduran villages

SOTO CANO AIR BASE, Honduras — Joint Task Force - Bravo's Medical Element (MEDEL) partnered with the Honduran Ministry of Health and the Honduran Military to provide medical care to more than 1,200 people over two days in Auka and Tipimuna, two remote villages in the Gracias a Dios region of Honduras during a Medical Readiness Training Exercise (MEDRETE), Dec. 2-5."These

Joint Task Force-Bravo volunteers wrap holiday gifts for local orphans

SOTO CANO AIR BASE, Honduras — More than 100 members of Joint Task Force-Bravo spent Saturday evening participating in a holiday gift wrapping party here, Nov. 30. Volunteers spent more than two hours wrapping gifts that will be given to children from local orphanages.The gift wrapping party was in preparation for Joint Task Force-Bravo's upcoming Operation Holiday Blessing,

Joint Task Force-Bravo celebrates Thanksgiving holiday

Members of Joint Task Force-Bravo participated in the annual "Turkey Bowl" flag football game. The game pits Airmen against Soldiers in a friendly competition between Army and Air Force. This year, the Air Force took home the Turkey Bowl trophy, defeating the Army in overtime by a score of 25-19. Joint Task Force-Bravo members compete in 2013 Turkey Bowl

The officers of Joint Task Force-Bravo participated in a special physical training session, during which they competed in an "Urban Hero Challenge" at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, Nov. 22, 2013. The officers divided into teams and competed in events that included pushing and pulling a Humvee, tire-flipping, a fire-hose carry relay race, along with several others. The winning team of the competition earned the right to hoist Joint Task Force-Bravo Commander Thomas Boccardi's "PT Championship Belt." The special PT session served to enhance camaraderie, teamwork, and esprit de corps among the JTF-Bravo officers, as well as to promote overall physical fitness. (U.S. Air Force photos by Capt.
