New Army Support Activity commander takes the reins

SOTO CANO AIR BASE, Honduras — Soto Cano Air Base welcomed a new commander to the team July 09, 2015. Col. Dan Barzyk took command of the Army Support Activity during a change of command ceremony. The event signified the passing of responsibility between commanders and afforded Barzyk his first act as commander by passing the colors to his senior enlisted advisor, Command Sgt.

Joint Task Force - Bravo conducts underwater egress training

SOTO CANO AIR BASE, Honduras — Crewmembers from the 1 - 228th Aviation Regiment practiced underwater egress training Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Soto Cano Air Base. The training taught crewmembers what steps to take in the event of a water evacuation from a helicopter. Joint Task Force - Bravo regularly receives calls to help with search and rescue missions, sometimes over water.
