JTF-Bravo supports Exercise PANAMAX

PANAMA CITY, Panama — Joint Task Force-Bravo Soldiers, Airmen and Marines participated in Exercise PANAMAX in Panama, Feb. 26 to March 8, 2024.

The aircraft and crews delivered over 24 pallets as part of the Denton Program, a Department of Defense transportation program that moves humanitarian cargo, donated by U.S. based Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to developing nations to ease human suffering.

JTF-Bravo hosts Joint NCO Induction Ceremony

SOTO CANO AIR BASE, Honduras — Members of Joint Task Force-Bravo and the Honduran Air Force attended and participated in a joint NCO Induction Ceremony at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, Feb. 9, 2024.

The team traveled out to the Olancho Department, working hand-in-hand with students from the Universidad Nacional de Agricultura in Olancho, to deworm & administer antibiotics and vitamins to over three hundred cattle.

The S-SAT is a quick-reaction deployable team comprised of experts that provide the commander of the U.S. Southern Command an immediate assessment of conditions and unique requirements needed during a Humanitarian Assistance or Disaster Response event in the Central America AOR.

JTF-Bravo partners with U.S.S. Farragut for DLQs

SOTO CANO AIR BASE, Honduras — 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment UH-60 Blackhawk crews teamed up with the USS FARRAGUT DDG99 to perform deck landing qualification training (DLQs) off the coast of Honduras, Dec. 16-19, 2023. 

During this engagement, the vet team inoculated and dewormed over 90 cattle - helping improve and increase the food stability in the region.
