JTF-Bravo conducts interoperability training with Costa Rican partners

The U.S. Army 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment, Joint Task Force-Bravo (JTF-B), Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, deployed three UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter aircrews to provide aviation support for the Costa Rican Police Forces during various training exercises with Special Operations Command South, June 10-16.

Tito Livio Moreno Coello, Honduran Armed Forces Chief of Staff, in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, June 9, to discuss the long-standing U.S. and Honduran partnership.

1-228th Aviation Regiment, U.S. Coast Guard complete overwater survival training

U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter aircrew assigned to the 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment, Joint Task Force-Bravo (JTF-B), Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, completed deck landing qualifications in coordination with the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter James (WMSL 754) on June 4, off Honduras’ northern coast.

59th MDW medics assist Honduras hospital during Resolute Sentinel 21

U.S. Air Force and Army military doctors were in Choluteca, Honduras, May 12-27, to assist the local hospital with urologic surgeries during Resolute Sentinel 21. The exercise provides joint training and improved readiness for U.S. civil engineers, medical professionals and support personnel through humanitarian assistance activities in Honduras.

AF breaks down updated fitness test scores

Without the waist measurement as a scored component, push-ups and sit-ups will increase from 10 to 20 points each, while the 1.5-mile run will remain at 60 points. Scoring will fall into five-year age groups, as opposed to the previous 10.
