JTF-Bravo excels in multinational HA/DR exercise

PANAMA CITY, Panama — From earthquakes and volcanic activity to forest fires and tropical storms, the variety of natural disaster threats Central America faces constantly is endless.

Throughout the week-long exercise, the 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment delivered more than 399,000 lbs. of building materials to remote locations and the MEDEL administered care to more than 1,200 patients.

JTF-Bravo commander visits Civil Affairs Teams and Regional Partners in Guatemala

GUATEMALA CITY, GUATEMALA — COL Phillip Brown, commander of Joint Task Force - Bravo based out of Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, and CSM Greggory Daily visited regional partners and Civil Affairs teams in Guatemala from 22 - 29 March 2023 and reaffirmed the Task Force’s commitment to our regional partners and discussed how to strengthen respective partnerships.

Action on Disaster Relief 2023

PANAMA CITY, PANAMA — Joint Task Force-Bravo, a task force under the United States Southern Command, had the opportunity to attend and participate in the 8th annual Action on Disaster Relief 2023 conference in Panama City, Panama 21 February- 24 February.

Joint Task Force Bravo conducted a medical engagement in Olancho, Honduras to provide humanitarian assistance and medical services at the request of the government of Honduras.

Soto Cano Air Base hosts second MEIR course of the year

SOTO CANO AIR BASE, HONDURAS — This month, the U.S. Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute partnered with medical personnel, first responders, the Honduran Red Cross and the Honduran Permanent Contingency Commission to return to Soto Cano to teach the MEIR course again, this time it was concluded with a base-wide exercise.
