JTF-Bravo conducts large formation helicopter exercise

U.S. Army soldiers assigned to Joint Task Force Bravo conducted a helicopter exercise out of Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, May 28, 2020. The exercise involved participation from the 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment and the use of 10 U.S. Army CH-47 Chinooks and UH-60 L Blackhawk helicopters.

Joint Task Force Bravo, with support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), delivered a donation of supplies valued at $ 15,000 to the Comayagua Department of Health in support of local efforts to counter the dengue epidemic.

Joining forces maintain operability, provide medical care

Soldiers with the U.S. Army Reserve assigned to Joint Task Force-Bravo conducted a Medical Readiness Training Exercise with Honduran military counterparts in the Atlántida department, Honduras, to provide basic medical services at local schools in the Frutera, Saladito and Boca del Toro villages, August 6 – 8.

JTF-B burns cultural barriers during CENTAM SMOKE

Firefighters from five Central American countries and Joint Task Force - Bravo participated in Central America Sharing Mutual Operational Knowledge and Experiences (CENTAM SMOKE) exercise, from April 8 - 12, here. CENTAM SMOKE, a biannual event hosted by the 612th Air Base Squadron, brought together fire fighters from Honduras, Costa Rica, Belize, Guatemala and El Salvador to train with U.S. Air Force members as well as develop bonds and understandings of one another’s culture with team building training.
