Joint Task Force-Bravo assists in search for missing hiker

SOTO CANO AIR BASE, Honduras — Joint Task Force-Bravo personnel deployed today in support of a personnel recovery mission in search

CORINTO, Nicaragua — Aviation Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class Matthew Shaw directs a UH-60 Army Blackhawk helicopter performing Deck Landing Qualifications aboard hospital ship USNS Comfort here July 9 during Continuing Promise 2009 (CP09). The helicopter is assigned to Joint Task Force Bravo, U.S. Southern Command's forward-deployed response force stationed in Soto Cano AFB, Honduras, and is assisting CP09 teams with personnel movement and logistics here. CP09 combines U.S. military and interagency personnel, non-governmental organizations, civil service mariners, academic and partner nations to provide medical, dental, veterinary and engineering services afloat and ashore alongside host nation personnel. Blackhawk assists USNS Comfort during humanitarian mission
