SOTO CANO AIR BASE, Honduras — Army Staff Sgt. Alexander Delarosa, JTF-Bravo veterinary technician, places a blue collar on a cat Oct. 15 at the base preventative health operating room after spaying, immunizing and implanting a computer microchip. The Joint Task Force-Bravo veterinarian clinic staff started a new initiative this month to try and not only control the population of cats on base, but also make sure the cats that are here are healthy in order to help control the pests on base. One way for base residents to visually determine which cats that have been treated is by the presence of the light blue collar (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Chad Thompson).
