Joint Task Force-Bravo operates out of a Honduran military installation, Soto Cano Air Base, located in central Honduras and is comprised of more than 500 U.S. military personnel and more than 500 U.S and Honduran civilians.

The task force is comprised of the Joint Staff, Army Forces Battalion, Medical Element, 612th Air Base Squadron and the 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment.

JTF-Bravo conducts a variety of missions in Central America, South America and the Caribbean that range from supporting U.S. Government operations, countering transnational organized crime, humanitarian assistance/disaster relief missions to building partner capacities. The successful completion of these missions, with support from all units, allows JTF-Bravo to promote security throughout the region.
