U.S., Panamanian special forces execute PANAMAX-Alpha Phase I VBSS training

PANAMA CITY, Panama — A UH-60 Blackhawk, assigned to the 1-228th Aviation Regiment out of Soto Cano Air Base, provides overhead support during a bilateral simulated visit, board, search, and seizure training between U.S. and Panamanian special forces units, at Panama City, Panama, July 17, 2025. PANAMAX is a joint exercise designed to enhance interoperability among participating nations and strengthen their ability to conduct multinational operations, particularly to defend the Panama Canal.

Winged Warriors maintain combat capabilities in Belize
