US, BDF, BCG practice helocast procedures during AGILE BEAR 25

U.S., Belize Defence Force, and Belize Coast Guard members conducted helocast practice during AGILE BEAR 25, at Belize City, Belize, Aug. 5, 2025. Subject matter expert exchanges with partner forces focused on specialized skills such as small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) operations, combatives, Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), Helocast procedures, and conducting troop movements to remote locations.

US, BDF, BCG conduct sUAS SME exchange during AGILE BEAR 25

U.S. Army Joint Task Force-Bravo, Belize Defence Force and Belize Coast Guard service members look at a small, unmanned aircraft system (sUAS) during exercise AGILE BEAR 25, Belize City, Belize, Aug. 4, 2025. During the course, participants learned about the advantages and uses of sUASs, aiding in the collection of data without putting service members in harm’s way. AGILE BEAR, led by Joint Task Force-Bravo provides critical subject matter expert exchanges in disaster response and counter transnational criminal organization activities preparing U.S. Southern Command’s Situational Assessment Team, 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment, and Belize and NATO partners for a collaborative response in times of crises.

JTF-Bravo conducts ARRK flight

Joint Task Force-Bravo J7 members took photos with an Automated Route Reconnaissance Kit (ARRK) in a CH-47 Chinook, in Belize, during exercise AGILE BEAR August 2, 2025. JTF-Bravo used the ARRK to collect data from illegal airstrips used for transnational criminal organization activities. AGILE BEAR, led by Joint Task Force-Bravo, provides critical subject matter expert exchanges, preparing U.S. Southern Command’s Situational Assessment Team, 1-228th Aviation Regiment, and Belize and NATO partners for a collaborative response in times of crises.

US NSW, Panamanian special forces conduct VBSS during PANAMAX-Alpha PH I

Joint Task Force-Bravo's 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment members support U.S. Naval Special Warfare operators during PANAMAX-Alpha Phase I, at Panama City, Panama, July 16, 2025. Joint Task Force-Bravo’s UH-60 Blackhawk, assigned to the 1-228th Aviation Regiment, provided overhead support during a bilateral simulated visit, board, search, and seizure training between U.S. and Panamanian special forces units.

JTF-Bravo supports NSW, Panamanian Special Forces FRIES training during PANAMAX-Alpha PH I

A Joint Task Force-Bravo UH-60 Blackhawk assigned to 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment, out of Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, assisted several U.S. Naval Special Warfare operators in a bilateral fast roping training event during PANAMAX-Alpha Phase I, at Cerro Tigre, Panama, July 15, 2025. PANAMAX is an annual joint exercise designed to enhance interoperability among participating nations and strengthen their ability to conduct multinational operations, particularly to defend the Panama Canal.

U.S. Defense Department Partners with Belizean Surgeons for Medical Missions in Belize

A U.S. military surgical team with United States Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) Joint Task Force (JTF)-Bravo based out of Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, will conduct a humanitarian surgical mission in Dangriga and Belmopan from August 15-27. This joint effort by U.S. Armed Forces medical professionals and the Belizean government is part of SOUTHCOM’s Global Health Engagements initiative.

SPMAGTF-SC, JTF-Bravo disaster relief in Haiti enabled by logistics, ‘Rapid Global Mobility’

U.S. Air Force heavy airlift was called upon to support approximately 200 Soldiers, Airmen and Marines from Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Southern Command and Joint Task Force-Bravo who deployed this week with two CH-53E Super Stallion, three CH-47 Chinook, and two UH-60L and two HH-60L Black Hawk helicopters to provide heavy and medium lift to support the U.S. Agency for International Development-led mission to alleviate human suffering and bolster Haitian disaster response capabilities.

Honduran, U.S. volunteers conduct underground search and rescue training

Nearly a dozen Honduran PUMCIR (Personal Utilizado en Misiones Contra Incendio y Rescate – Personnel Used in Fire and Rescue) volunteers and seven U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to Joint Task Force-Bravo at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, conducted a search and rescue exercise in Comayagua National Park near El Volcan, Honduras.
