US, BDF, BCG practice helocast procedures during AGILE BEAR 25

U.S., Belize Defence Force, and Belize Coast Guard members conducted helocast practice during AGILE BEAR 25, at Belize City, Belize, Aug. 5, 2025. Subject matter expert exchanges with partner forces focused on specialized skills such as small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) operations, combatives, Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), Helocast procedures, and conducting troop movements to remote locations.

Nurses from Joint Task Force-Bravo and the Western Regional Hospital Belize conducted gallbladder and hernia surgical procedures during a JTF-Bravo surgical mission, Belmopan, Belize, Aug. 5, 2025. Surgical missions provide an opportunity for servicemembers to engage with the local community and give back to our neighbors while providing them with services that may otherwise be unavailable or in high demand. Since 1992, medical support to Central America has been a hallmark of JTF-Bravo’s presence in the region, improving overall health and long-term stability.

Belize Defence Force and Belize Coast Guard members participate in a tactical combat casualty care class led by U.S. Air Force survival, resistance, evasion and escape, and a Joint Task Force-Bravo Marine Corps emergency response instructors during exercise AGILE BEAR 25, Belize City, Belize, Aug. 4, 2025. Given Central America's high vulnerability to natural disasters, Joint Task Force-Bravo's AGILE BEAR exercise works collaboratively with the British Army Training Support Unit-Belize to equip Belizean forces with the necessary knowledge and resources to lessen the impact of these events.

JTF-B burns cultural barriers during CENTAM SMOKE

Firefighters from five Central American countries and Joint Task Force - Bravo participated in Central America Sharing Mutual Operational Knowledge and Experiences (CENTAM SMOKE) exercise, from April 8 - 12, here. CENTAM SMOKE, a biannual event hosted by the 612th Air Base Squadron, brought together fire fighters from Honduras, Costa Rica, Belize, Guatemala and El Salvador to train with U.S. Air Force members as well as develop bonds and understandings of one another’s culture with team building training.
