SOTO CANO AIR BASE, Honduras –
A U.S. Department of Defense C-12 aircraft made an emergency landing about 10:15 a.m. today on the airfield, West of Soto Cano Air Base.
The aircraft was en route from Toncontin International Airport to Guanaja, Honduras on an official business trip, when it reported mechanical difficulties with its landing gear and had to perform an emergency landing here.
Joint Task Force-Bravo emergency responders have responded to the incident. Seven people were on board to include five Americans and two Hondurans. There were no injuries or fatalities.
A board of officers will investigate the incident.
