SOTO CANO AIR BASE, Honduras. –
The 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment from Joint Task Force-Bravo will provide one UH-60 Black Hawk for a static display at the Ilopango Air Show, San Salvador, El Salvador, from January 31 to February 1, 2026.
The public will have the opportunity to interact with the air crew and learn about the aircraft's capabilities, as well as JTF-Bravo’s longstanding partnership with El Salvador.
“Our participation is about more than just aircraft; it's about strengthening the bonds of community between our nations,” said Col. Robert Snyder, JTF-Bravo commander. “We are dedicated to deepening our friendship and cooperative ties with El Salvador, fostering goodwill through shared engagements to ensure we are always ready to work side-by-side with our Salvadoran partners.”
Established in 1983, JTF-Bravo supports U.S. military and humanitarian operations, providing critical airlift, medical, logistics, and security assistance to partner nations. The task force functions as U.S. Southern Command’s rapid response element, enhances regional security, promotes stability, and strengthens partnerships through disaster response, joint exercises, and capacity-building initiatives in support of U.S. Southern Command priorities.
