Joint Task Force-Bravo Change of Command ceremony

SOTO CANO AIR BASE, Honduras   –   Media are invited to cover the Joint Task Force-Bravo change of command ceremony here Wednesday at 8:30 a.m.

The commander of U.S. Southern Command, General Douglas Fraser will preside over the ceremony as U.S. Army Col. Ross Brown assumes command of JTF-Bravo from Col. Gregory D. Reilly.

Colonel Reilly assumed command of JTF-B February 9, 2010. During his tenure in command, Colonel Reilly led the U.S. Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, and Airmen of JTF-Bravo as they responded to several natural disasters, including an earthquake in Haiti and Tropical Storm Agatha. He also led JTF-Bravo's participation in several multinational exercises including CENTAM Smoke.

The incoming commander, Colonel Brown, is coming to JTF-Bravo after serving as senior military fellow at the Center for a New American Security. He began his career in the Army as an Armor officer after graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
