CENTAM Guardian 24 Phase II, a Large Scale Global Exercise

During the exercise the joint force conducted a real world mission to repair a radio tower in the mountains of Costa Rica. Two telecommunication technicians were transported to the repair sight using a UH-60L Black Hawk helicopter assigned to JTF-B and utilizing Marines from 4th CAG as translators. Exercise CG24, an annual, multinational exercise designed to build humanitarian assistance and disaster response functional capacity, took place in various locations throughout Costa Rica.
