JTF-Bravo joins partners for Pediatric Nutritional Assessments

La Paz, Honduras - U.S. Army Lt. Col. Steven Min (left), division chief of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and Dr. Miguel Coello (right), medical liaison, Joint Task Force-Bravo Medical Element, measure a patient during a pediatric nutritional assessment mission in Tepanguare village. Joint Task Force–Bravo Medical Element personnel participated in a pediatric nutritional assessment mission as members of a joint team with Walter Reed and the Honduran Ministry of Health to assess the nutritional status of children from the ages of 6 months to 60 months at the Matazano, Humuya, and Tepanguare villages in the Department of La Paz, Honduras from Nov. 6-9, 2017. Children were measured, weighed and tested for anemia as part of the study.
