Army Support Activity teaches self-defense basics

SOTO CANO AIR BASE, Honduras - Sgt. 1st Class Eric Kirkpatrick (left), administrative contracting officer, performs a self-defense demonstration with Command Sgt. Maj. Edgar Fuentes, Army Support Activity Senior Enlisted Leader, at the Soto Cano Air Base Fire Department as part of a team building program for the garrison team, October 27, 2017. Participants learned basic self-defense techniques that ranged from how to maintain distance, how to escape basic holds and arm drags, and how to defend against an attacker.
