Although this was the first time for these three particular JSF MWD teams to be hoisted together, the 1-228th AVN regularly conducts hoist operations.

SOTO CANO AIR BASE, Honduras - El Sargento del Estado Mayor del Ejercito de los EE.UU. Jun Ma, paramédico de vuelo del 1-228 Regimiento de Aviación, le da señales al Especialista del Ejercito de los EE.UU. Andrew Briones, jefe de tripulación del 1-228th, para que levante a la Especialista del Ejercito de los EE.UU. Courtney Moreland, adiestradora de la unidad canina de Fuerza de Seguridad Conjunta, y a su perro Puma, durante un entrenamiento en la Base Aérea Soto Cano, Honduras, el 15 de agosto del 2016. Aunque esta fue la primera vez para el equipo de la unidad canina de Fuerzas de Seguridad Conjunta, la tripulación del 1-228 realiza este tipo de entrenamiento regularmente.
