U.S. Army Sgt. Jason Nisperos, Preventive Medicine Specialist, from Springfield, Missouri, tests collected water samples in Comayagua, Honduras June 14, 2016. According to Nisperos, each water sample received is tested for temperature and pH, while other water samples are tested for chlorine residual as well. The team applies skills and knowledge they have learned about Preventive Medicine in the army and in turn help pass those skills to the local nationals - skills such as problem solving if bacteria is found in the water and if there are issues from the containers through the pipelines.
