Members of the 2nd Infantry Battalion and U.S. Soldiers and Airmen from Joint Task Force-Bravo gather for group photo after Honduran military leaders led a rehearsal of concept drill in Santa Bárbara, June 1, 2016, to help ensure safe and effective operations during Operation CARAVANA XX. This was the first time the Honduran military hosted and led a RoC drill for a combined CARAVANA mission, demonstrating an increase in effectiveness due to an expansion of Honduran assets and capabilities. However, this was not the first time they took the lead role during a CARAVANA operation as the previous iteration was conducted by the Honduran Armed Forces without U.S. assistance.
