Joint Task Force-Bravo conducts medical exercise, builds relationships in Nicaragua
U.S. Army SSgt Lisa Kent, Joint Task Force-Bravo Preventive Medicine, fill syringes with deworming medication to provide to the children who visited the Prinzu Pawanka Hospital during a Joint Task Force-Bravo-led Medical Readiness Training Exercise in Alamikamba, Nicaragua, May 19, 2016. After receiving an initial health class, which provided guidance on how to avoid common illnesses, patients were seen by medical providers and received medication for their illnesses free of charge. A total of 1,265 Nicaraguans received care during the MEDRETE, which included participation from Nicaraguan Ministry of Health and Army in cooperation with JTF-Bravo service members and Honduran medical liaisons from Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras.
