Members of the Joint Task Force-Bravo U.S. Southern Command Situational Assessment Team element, based out of Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, and the U.S. Embassy, Managua, Community Emergency Response Team gather for a group photo after an S-SAT demonstration in Managua, Nicaragua, May 17, 2016. The S-SAT team was invited to demonstrate the disaster response assistance capabilities they can provide to all seven Central American nations. The JTF-Bravo S-SAT is designed to be able to depart Soto Cano Air Base within 18 hours of notification of an approved request for assistance that originates from a partner nation by means of the respective U.S. Embassy and U.S. SOUTHCOM.
