ALTO DE CARONA, Costa Rica - Air Force Tech. Sgt. Jennifer Wampler, Joint Task Force-Bravo Medical Element, holds a child during a break during the three-day medical readiness exercise. It wasn't hard for U.S. servicemembers to interact with the community, as many of the servicemembers were truly humbled by the kindness the people in the villages extended to them. Spending time with children and speaking about life in Costa Rica and the United States, became an important and memorable part of the mission for many of the servicemembers and volunteers.
