A civilian Honduran firefighter looks for the OK signal before pushing into a fire engulfed room at the Joint Task Force-Bravo ?burn house,? a two-level training structure constructed of concrete and metal. The firefighters are participating in a JTF-Bravo-sponsored firefighting subject matter expert exchange. To make the experience of entering a burning building as realistic as possible, firefighters start a controlled fire burning inside the structure which provides a smoky atmosphere and temperatures of 900 degrees at the fire?s base and 1400 at the ceiling.
