U.S., Honduran Army Engineers Create an Equation for Success
LAS MESAS, Honduras - Spc. Rich S. Snyder of the 672nd Engineer Company removes a dilapidated schoolhouse window during the unit?s two-week Annual Training. U.S. Army engineers are among the personnel participating in Beyond the Horizon, an exercise that provides infrastructure renovation, as well as basic medical and dental care, to rural areas of this Central American country. Soldiers working in Las Mesas will replace the school's doors and windows, repair the roof, and repaint the entire structure, in addition to improving a soccer field on which local children play.
