U.S., Honduran Army Engineers Create an Equation for Success
LAS MESAS, Honduras: U.S. Army Reserve welder Spc. Bradley McNintch (left) and assistant Pfc. Cody W. Glasser of the 672nd Engineer Company discuss plans to construct burglar bars for the grade school of this rural village. Soldiers from the 672nd, 756th, and 1430th Engineer Companies are working in Las Mesas during the joint forces training exercise Beyond the Horizon. They will replace the school's doors and windows, repair the roof, and repaint the entire structure, in addition to improving a soccer field on which local children play. Beyond the Horizon provides infrastructure renovation, as well as basic medical and dental care, to rural areas of this Central American country. (Photo by Sgt. Claude W.
