03/05/2008 - PUERTO CASTILLA NAVAL BASE, Honduras - Members of the 1008th Quartermaster Company use this reverse osmosis purification unit (ROPU) to purify and desalinate up to 3000 gallons of water per hour. The water is used at the base to provide drinking water, water for showers and laundry facilities for the service members stationed here as part of the Medical Readiness and Training Exercise (MEDRETE) that they are partaking in as part of the joint-force, joint-nation exercise Beyond the Horizon.
