Alvarado Castillo and Poptun Mayor Angel Kelkan Ochoa some children’s vitamins during a medical readiness and training exercise in Poptun June 25. The vitamins are handed out as part of a preventive medicine course all patients must attend prior to receiving care. Twenty-three members of Joint Task Force-Bravo, based at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, teamed up with the Guatemalan Army, Military Group, and Ministry of Health to provide care to residents of the Poptun area.
