CORINTO, Nicaragua — Aviation Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class Matthew Shaw directs a UH-60 Army Blackhawk helicopter performing Deck Landing Qualifications aboard hospital ship USNS Comfort here July 9 during Continuing Promise 2009 (CP09). The helicopter is assigned to Joint Task Force Bravo, U.S. Southern Command's forward-deployed response force stationed in Soto Cano AFB, Honduras, and is assisting CP09 teams with personnel movement and logistics here. CP09 combines U.S. military and interagency personnel, non-governmental organizations, civil service mariners, academic and partner nations to provide medical, dental, veterinary and engineering services afloat and ashore alongside host nation personnel.
