SOTO CANO AIR BASE, Honduras — Army Lt. Col. (Dr.) Christopher Sanborn, JTF-Bravo Medical Element surgeon, assists Dr. Jose Angel Mejia with a gallbladder surgery in a local hospital Sept. 16 in Comayagua, Honduras. Dr. Sanborn is part of a four-person team that goes to La Paz and Comayagua hospitals Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays to perform operations and lessen the burden on local doctors during these medical readiness training exercise, or MEDRETEs.
