SOTO CANO AIR BASE, Honduras — Runners make the turn down the back stretch of the runway during the Air Force's 62nd birthday celebration 5k run here Sept. 18.  About 175 Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen participated in the 5k run around the base runway. Spc. Al Lawrence, JTF-Bravo Medical Element logistics flight, led the men with a time of 20:54. Command Sgt. Maj. Carlos Escalera, 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation’s Regiment command sergeant major, came in a close second with a time of 20:57. Air Force 1st Lt.
