El Salvador MEDCAP treats nearly 3,000 patients in four days
ILOPANGO, El Salvador – A child draws a picture of what she remembers of the floods for a psychiatric evaluation Nov. 21 in San Emigdio, El Salvador. The Ministry of Health provided psychologists for the Medical Civil Action Program, or MEDCAP, who performed 161 post-traumatic stress disorder screenings.
