U.S. Army Maj. (Dr.) David Haight and a representative of the El Salvador military explain dosing instructions to a woman who received medical treatment in El Achiotal, El Salvador, Dec. 15, 2009. The woman was one of more than 1,300 patients seen during a two-day medical mission offering residents affected by November flooding and mudslides the opportunity to receive medical care, immunizations, education, and prescription drugs free of charge. It was a combined effort between the Salvadoran government, the U.S. Embassy in El Salvador, and U.S. Southern Command’s Joint Task Force-Bravo – based at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras.
