Joint Task Force-Bravo's Army Forces Battalion visits local orphanage

By U.S. Army Spc. Cory Cantlay Joint Task Force-Bravo Army Forces Battalion

Members of Joint Task Force-Bravo's Army Forces Battalion (ARFOR) paid a visit to the Horizontes al Futuro orphanage in Comayagua, Honduras, Feb. 9, 2014.

The visit is one of many made by the members of ARFOR to provide support for the children at the orphanage and improve their morale.

During the visit, the children were given pizza, kool-aid as well as clothing.  ARFOR members spent the afternoon playing soccer and dodgeball with the kids.

ARFOR members said they had a great time participating with the kids.

"It was nice to see all the kids smiling," said U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Roberto Ordonez.  "I feel like we really make a difference in their lives."

ARFOR makes trips to the Horizontes al Futuro orphanage several times each year as a way to help out the children while continuing to strengthen the ties between the U.S. and Honduras.
