New Army Support Activity commander takes the reins

Soto Cano Air Base welcomed a new commander to the team July 09, 2015. Col. Dan Barzyk took command of the Army Support Activity during a change of command ceremony. The event signified the passing of responsibility between commanders and afforded Barzyk his first act as commander by passing the colors to his senior enlisted advisor, Command Sgt. Maj. Bruce Machado. The ASA provides a solid foundation for Soto Cano Air Base by ensuring much needed facilities and services in a way that optimizes resources and sustains the environment. From Soldier, family and civilian readiness to leader and workforce development, the ASA covers the well-being of the entire Soto Cano Air Base community. Welcome to the team, Col. Barzyk, and a fond farewell to Col. Rollin Miller!
