SOTO CANO AIR BASE, Honduras –

United States Army Air Ambulance Detachment (USAAAD), 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment Joint Task Force-Bravo critical care flight paramedics, conducted several simulated overwater hoist rescues at Lake Yojoa, April 22, 2025.

During the two-day event, several HH-60L Black Hawk pilots practiced multiple over water hoist operations utilizing different extraction devices. This event was an opportunity for members to sharpen their skills and ensure members could safely hone their emergency medical skills and be prepared to rescue if the occasion arose.
