PUERTO CORTES, Honduras –
Joint Task Force-Bravo and USNS Burlington's (T-EPF 10) personnel worked side-by-side during U.S. Southern Command's U.S. 4th Fleet/U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command's (NAVSOUTH) exercise Continuing Promise 2024 in multiple locations throughout Honduras, July 27 to Aug. 2, 2024.
Continuing Promise 2024 in Honduras is an exercise where the USNS Burlington and JTF-Bravo's military and civilian professionals work with Honduran counterparts to provide veterinary care, a Women, Peace and Security seminar, and a humanitarian assistance and disaster relief tabletop exercise with subject matter experts.
This is the 14th Continuing Promise iteration and the second time the USNS Burlington has visited Honduras since 2007.
Continuing Promise has long been an example of USSOUTHCOM’s commitment to the region as a whole.
