SOTO CANO AIR BASE, Honduras –
The members of Joint Task Force-Bravo's Headquarters Support Company (HSC) successfully completed a 100 percent inventory of all equipment assigned to the previous HSC commander, Sept. 23-30.
The inventory was conducted due to an upcoming change of command for the HSC. In order for the Army to receive a new commander, he or she, along with the supply noncommissioned officer-in-charge, must conduct a detailed physical account of every item on the hand receipts from the previous commander.
"I was impressed to see how the joint service members of Headquarters Support Company remained motivated throughout the change of command inventories," said U.S. Army Captain Daniel Lozano.
The majority of service members stationed here are operationally deployed for six to twelve months. While U.S. Army Soldiers are very familiar with equipment layouts and inspections, for many servicemembers from other forces the time spent in Honduras is the first exposure to become familiar with Army equipment inventory systems.
