SOTO CANO AIR BASE, Honduras –
Colonel Phillip Brown, commander of Joint Task Force-Bravo recently recognized two of our soldiers for their efforts in the support of the United States Naval Ship Comfort here in Honduras.
Captain Harsh Dwvidei and 1st Lieutenant Jacqueline Woesthoff supported the Medical Readiness Site pharmacy section.
Captain Dwvidei was coined for his efforts in overseeing the packing of the entire pharmacy’s formulary section at medical sites while also supporting the pharmacy services at the Soto Cano Airbase Troop Medical Clinic.
1st Lieutenant Woesthoff was coined for assisting in a two-person pharmacy team preparing medicines for a field hospital and preventative medicine detachment.
During the USNS Comforts stop to Honduras, Joint Task Force Brave supported the arrival with holding several medical events around Puerto Cortes, assisted in a Humanitarian and Disaster Relief seminar, and conducted general surgeries with our local partners. Missions such as these allow Joint Task Force Bravo to demonstrate our ability to respond and support when called by our partners.
