SOUTHCOM Commander serves Thanksgiving meal to JTF-Bravo servicemembers

Gen. Douglas Fraser, commander of U.S. Southern Command, served a holiday meal to JTF-Bravo servicemembers, thanked them for their service and wished them a happy Thanksgiving holiday here Nov. 24.

Thank you for being here and for what you are doing, the general said to JTF-Bravo servicemembers.

The general visited the men and women of Soto Cano and coined them for their outstanding performance.

JTF-Bravo is U.S Southern Command's only permanently deployed U.S. forces in the region and has operated in Honduras since 1983.

JTF-Bravo stands as U.S. Southern Command's force providers, prepared to respond to natural disasters such as severe flooding and landslides in the area. In addition to humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, the task force supports counternarcotics and other missions in the region.
