CSM John R. Diggles

CSM Diggles is a native of Ventura, California, he enlisted into the United States Army on July 7th, 1999, and attended One Station Unit Training at Ft. Benning, Georgia as Light Infantryman. His assignments include 3rd US Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) Arlington VA; Escort Platoon team leader, United States Army Caisson Platoon Arlington VA; lead rider and section leader. United States Army Drill Sergeant School Fort Benning GA. 1st of the 50th Infantry Battalion Fort Benning GA. 3rd of the 41st Stryker Brigade Combat Team Fort Bliss TX; First Sergeant, B Co / HHC 2nd Battalion 27th Infantry Schofield Barracks HI; First Sergeant, DIV G5 25th Infantry Division Schofield Barracks HI; Operations Sergeant Major. University of Massachusetts Amherst MA; Senior Military Science Instructor, Sergeants Major Academy Norwich University in Northfield VT; Chief Instructor, 3rd 47th Infantry Battalion Fort Moore GA; Battalion Command Sergeant Major, and currently assigned to 2nd 3rd SFAB Fort Cavazos TX; Battalion Command Sergeant Major. CSM Diggles has been selected to serve as the next Joint Task Force Bravo Brigade Command Sergeant Major Soto Cano, Honduras.


CSM Diggles is a graduate of PLDC, BNCOC, Maneuver ANCOC, First Sergeant Course, The Sergeants Major Academy, US Army Airborne School, United states army Horsemanship Course, US Army Drill Sergeant School, Total Army Instructor Course, and Combative levels I and II. He has an associate degree from American Military University, BA degree in Leadership and Workforce Development from Command and General Staff College (CGSC) and is a Master SCUBA Diver Trainer.


CSM Diggles awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal 1 OLC, the Meritorious Service Medal 1SOLC, 2OLC, the Army Commendation Medal 4 OLC, the Army Achievement Medal 4 OLC, the Good Conduct Medal 8th Award, the National Defense Service Medal, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, the Iraqi Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Humanitarian Servis Medal, the NCO Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 5), the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Service Ribbon Numeral 3 and the NATO Medal. CSM Diggles is a recipient of the Expert Infantryman’s Badge, Drill Sergeant Badge, Basic Instructors Badge, the Order of Saint Maurice medallion, German Proficiency Badge, and the Norwegian foot march badge.
