JTF-Bravo partners with U.S.S. Farragut for DLQs

1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment UH-60 Blackhawk crews teamed up with the USS FARRAGUT DDG99 to perform deck landing qualification training (DLQs) off the coast of Honduras, Dec. 16-19, 2023. 

During this engagement, the vet team inoculated and dewormed over 90 cattle - helping improve and increase the food stability in the region.

JTF-Bravo vets inoculate, deworm cattle in Humuya

Joint Task Force-Bravo's veterinary team worked alongside Honduran cattle ranchers to inoculate and deworm livestock in Humuya, Honduras, Dec. 12, 2023.

The aircraft was participating in an air assault training exercise that validated U.S. Army Soldiers to ability to operate overwater while responding to multiple locations simultaneously across the northern Honduran ocean.

1-228th Aviation Regiment conducts air assault training

1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment, Soldiers mobilized and generated seven UH-60 Blackhawks during an air assault training exercise near the Northern coast of Honduras between Dec. 6 and 7.

The cargo was part of a Denton Program delivery that delivered approximately 31,000 pounds of donated commodities including agricultural equipment, educational supplies, food and medical supplies.

Joint Task Force-Bravo, U.S. Southern Command and the Honduras Ministries of Education and Agriculture partnered to dontate $25,000 in construction materials to expand the school's cafeteria for approximately 300 low-income students receiving specialized technical education.
