Strengthening partnerships before the storm

U.S. military and civilian personnel from Joint Task Force-Bravo (JTF-Bravo), a unit under the U.S. Southern Command (U.S. SOUTHCOM) based out of Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, the U.S. Agency for International Development Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance (USAID/BHA), integrated efforts with the Salvadoran Armed Forces and Civil Protection System during Sentinel Watch, a combined training exercise to build disaster response readiness, 27-28 July.

1-228th Aviation Regiment and U.S. Navy build Central American support capability

U.S. Army pilots and crew assigned to the 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment (1-228), Joint Task Force-Bravo completed deck landing qualifications with the Freedom-variant littoral combat ship USS Billings (LCS 15) off the coast of El Salvador, July 15 and 16, 2022.

JTF-B donates essential materials to school in Mogotillo, El Salvador through HAP

Members of Joint Task Force-Bravo (JTF-B), Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, donated $2,254 of construction materials to the Jose Anastasio Bonilla Education Center, May 16, through U.S. Southern Command’s (USSOUTHCOM) Humanitarian Assistance Program.

JTF-Bravo conducts rapid response exercise

Joint Task Force-Bravo, a U.S. Southern Command unit at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, will conduct a rapid response exercise with the Salvadoran Military to simulate a natural disaster response in and around La Union, El Salvador from 10-22 May.

JTF-Bravo aviation assistance concludes

After almost two weeks of disaster relief missions, personnel assigned to Joint Task Force-Bravo culminate rescue and aviation assistance operations in areas affected by Hurricane Eta in Panama, Guatemala and Honduras.
