Joint Task Force-Bravo

Located at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, JTF-Bravo out competes adversaries; organizes multilateral exercises in cooperation with partner nations and other U.S. Agencies; and supports countering transnational organized crime, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, and defense institution building to promote regional cooperation and security in Central America.

JTF-Bravo conducts and supports joint operations, activities, and investments throughout the joint operational area, maintaining a forward presence to enhance regional security, stability, and cooperation in support of the SOUTHCOM Commander’s Campaign Plan.

Mission and Tasks

Mission

JTF-Bravo conducts and supports U.S. Southern Command operations, activities and investments across all domains in support of U.S. Government agencies and partner nations in Central America, in order to enhance regional security and defends the U.S. homeland and national interests. On order, JTF-Bravo will deploy for crisis response as directed by the USSOUTHCOM commander within the area of responsibility.
